The character of Superman has existed for over 75 years. Created in 1933 by Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster, the character has transcended comics to become a world-wide phenomenon, to the point that the Superman shield is the second most recognized symbol around the world next to the cross.
In this episode of Cinema Stories, Courtney Huskisson and Matt Rushing talk about Man of Steel. We discuss our experiences with this take on Superman, stewardship on Krypton, morality and evolution, a god you can’t control, identity and purpose, partnership, sacrifice and so much more.
